The long awaited Season 4 is finally here. These illustrations have been completed prior to, and during pregnancy, and also whilst moving home! There's been a cycle of burn-out, detox, and a spark that's reignited Violet's love for drawing again.

Macabre Merfolk

For Mermay 2024, Violet opted to steer clear of clichés and explore unsettling interpretations of merfolk representing real aquatic species. The result, in a complimentary monochrome tone, is an eerie alternative she's very proud of.

A homage to the genre-defining game that helped grow this community during pre-Twitch partnership.

There was a large chance that these illustrations would not see the light of day, as Violet's self-criticism took hold, and she reworked them several times over. Her choice to include them is a reflection on the valuable lessons she's learnt.

Little stories for a little seedling

With the upcoming arrival of Violet's baby, she excitedly delved into classic fairy tales. Breaking free of her art-block shackles, these quickly evolved from sketches to final pieces.
